Senior Driving

Today I read an article about the dangers of Seniors driving. In the article in states" Driving is a sign of independence and taking the wheel away from a person is like taking away their independence" but when Seniors taking the wheel not only causes harm to the community but to themselves then it is time to hand over the keys. In this article "When should an older adult surrender their keys" it lists signs that one should look out for when deciding if a loved one is still capable of driving once they reach a certain age. Some important things to watch out for when a Senior is continuing to drive is hearing loss, clarity of vision, reflexes how quickly are they able to respond in case of an emergency.
